| When she was only 4 yrs old Shreya Ghoshal began accompanying her mother on the harmonium. She began her training in Hindustani classical music under Maheshchandra Sharma in Kota. As a child, Shreya won the kids special episode of 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' contest on Zee TV. |

| Shreya took training under Kalyanji for one and a half year after moving to Mumbai and later continued her training under Mukta Bhide. |

| When Shreya participated in 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' as an adult in 2000 director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali noticed her abilities and gave her a break in Bollywood with 'Devdas'. Shreya did the playback for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. |

| Today Shreya is one of the top singers in Bollywood and apart from Hindi she has also sung in many languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali and Marathi. |
