Tisca started her acting career with the Hindi film 'Platform'. She has acted in various Hindi films such 'Baali Umar Ko Salaam', 'Taqdeerwala', 'Karobaar' , 'Hyderabad Blues ', 'Sau Jhooth Ek Sach' etc.

Tisca Chopra has got rave reviews for her performance in TZP, so much so that she has not only wowed the biggies of the film business like Raju Hirani and Karan Johar, and got offers to teach at Whistling Woods International, she has also been nominated in most of the Film awards announced so far!!

Tisca Chopra has come full circle in life. She started her career as a leading lady to Ajay Devgan, disappeared from the film industry, then did plays like 'Mahtama V/S Gandhi'.

Tisca Chopra who delighted viewers as Maya, a middle class housewife in Aamir Khan's 'Taare Zameen Par', was seen in Nandita Das, directorial debut 'Firaaq'.

Tisca will play an educated urban upper class woman in the upcoming film that releases in theatres this year. Nandita Das, who has also co-written the script of the film, is the second debutant director that Chopra will work with after Aamir. Tisca is all praises for her director!! We hear that she had a great time working with Nandita.
