Vector Supercomputer, SX-9

NEC Corp.'s staff Rie Toh displays the computer maker's Vector Supercomputer, SX-9, as it is launched in Tokyo. Claiming the world's fasterst, SX-9 performs 839 TFLOPS (one trillion floating point operations per second) at its peak processing. (AP/Koji Sasahara)
