A bridal wear might appear routine for Bollywood actresses on screen. But when they walk down the aisle for real, the whole world is a witness to the dream wedding. Let's take a look at B'wood brides when they get hitched in real...



Clad in a red heavily embellished saree, flaunting diamonds and emeralds, Shilpa Shetty exchanged wedding vows with London-based businessman Raj Kundra in a close-knit family affair in Khandala. Wearing a red saree designed by Tarun Tahiliani, Shilpa Shetty bedazzled at her wedding as she exchanged vows as per the Bunt tradition, according to the Mangalorean community that Shilpa Shetty belongs to.
Amrita Arora's wedding event was one to watch out for! She tied the knot with her beau Shakeel Ladak at the Bandra Church in Mumbai on March 4, 2009. What followed after the wedding was the colourful 'sangeet' and 'mehendi' ceremony along with a reception party.
Long-time sweethearts, Ayesha Takia and Farhan Azmi got married in a largely private ceremony on March 1, 2009. Ayesha looked as pretty as a porcelain doll and Farhan complimented her well in a sherwani and churidar.
It was during the promotion of Mani Ratnam's Guru when Abhishek Bachchan proposed to Aishwarya Rai in the balcony of a New York City hotel. B'wood's blue-eyed girl Karisma Kapoor tied the knot with childhood friend and Delhi industrialist Sunjay Kapur on September 29, 2003. In a typical Kapoor tradition, Karisma was married at her grandfather, the late Raj Kapoor's home, R K Cottage.
Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna got married in a secret ceremony on January 17, 2001. The ceremony was attended by only families and friends from both the sides and consisted of a simple mehendi ceremony followed by the 'pheras'.

Rinki Khanna, daughter of Dimple and Rajesh Khanna and sister of actress Twinkle Khanna got married to Sameer on 8th Feb in New Delhi. The wedding reception was attended by family and close friends.
