Top Playboy girls

Playboy, the cult magazine started by Hugh Hefner in 1953 has long mesmerised men the world over with it's Bunnies and Playmates. Here are a few women celebrities who'd adorned Playboy's cover pages down the years.



Mariah Carey: Pop star Mariah appeared on the March 2007 cover of Playboy in a skimpy flesh-coloured bathing suit. The singer posed for the magazine to accompany a feature on the 'Sexiest Comeback.' (AGENCIES)
Denise Richards: The ethereal beauty posed in a nude for the December 2004 edition of Playboy. The sexy former Bond girl has stripped for many movie roles and Playboy shoots in the past.
Eva Herzigova: She had realised one of her lifelong ambitions by appearing on the pages of the Playboy magazine. Having gone buff for photographer Mario Sorrenti, the Czech model admitted that going bare was something she always wanted to do. Pamela Anderson: In May, 2004 she appeared in the nude on the cover of Playboy magazine. It was the first time she had appeared naked on any magazine cover. Amanda Beard: Amanda's nude photographs appeared in Playboy in July 2007. She was no stranger to photoshoots, as her modeling work included posing for big magazine houses like FHM, Maxim and the SI Swimsuit Edition. She also carried the title of the Most Downloaded Female Athlete in 2004. (AFP)

Anna Nicole Smith: Her career took off after she was chosen by Hugh Hefner to appear on the cover of the March 1992 issue of Playboy, where she was listed as Vickie Smith, wearing a low-cut evening gown. It wasn't a case of Hugh Hefner offering her millions to pose for a photoshoot. Marilyn Monroe: Gracing the cover of the inaugural issue was the universally acclaimed beauty of the ages, Marilyn. The first Playboy magazine was published in December 1953 and it had Marilyn Monroe on the cover riding a circus elephant and Marilyn inside appearing in the center as 'Sweetheart of the Month'. Jessica Alba: On the cover of the March 2006 issue, Playboy magazine named Jessica among its 25 Sexiest Celebrities and the Sex Star of the Year. Her image from a promotional shot for 'Into the Blue' was used by the magazine without her consent, which she contends gave the appearance that she was featured in the issue in a 'nude pictorial'.
