Sania's Mehendi ceremony

After the nikaah, it's celebration time for the Mirzas and Maliks. A day after her nikah (marriage) with Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik, a mehendi ceremony was held at the city-based residence of the parents of tennis star Sania Mirza on Tuesday. (BCCL/Md Ilias)
The mehendi, an exclusive all-ladies function was held on Tuesday afternoon. Six mehendi artists were seen making their way to the Mirza residence. (REUTERS)
For the mehendi dishes like biryani, halwa, dahi murg ka salan, salad, dum ka chicken, baingan ka subzi were served.  (PTI)
Earlier, clad in a pink salwar-kameez, Sania walked into her parents' house with Shoaib, who was wearing a green sherwani.  (BCCL/Md Ilias)
The much awaited grand wedding reception is tomorrow and will be attended by high profile guests. (PTI)
The sangeet ceremony which will take place today will have dance performances by close friends of Sania.  (BCCL/Md Ilias)
