Miss USA in 'stripper' row

Rima Fakih, who was just crowned Miss USA 2010, strutted her stuff on a stripper pole. The beauty participated and won a 'Stripper 101' radio contest a few years back. (AP)
Rima Fakih won the title as the USA's most beautiful woman Sunday in Las Vegas. But afterward, pictures of Fakih in a tiara soon gave way to ones of her on the pole. The Miss Universe representatives called a radio station as they wanted to see if they could have more photos or information. (AP)
The show's co-host called the flap 'ridiculous' as she was wearing more clothes in the photos on the site. He said the contest was run by actual strippers, but contestants did not strip. They are not naked during the contest and rather they are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes, added the show's co-host. (AP)
Rima Fakih became the first Arab-American winner of the beauty pageant when the Lebanese immigrant Miss Michigan was crowned on May 16, 2010 night. A 24-year old Lebanese immigrant is believed to be the first Muslim to win the pageant despite stumbling over her evening gown during the finale in Las Vegas. (REUTERS)
