Rashmi-Nandish tie the knot

One of the hottest television couples and the lead actors of popular TV show 'Uttaran', Rashmi Desai and Nandish Sandhu, tied the knot in Ghaziabad recently.

The couple was in Delhi recently for an award function where Rashmi was to be felicitated. Confirming the news, Nandish said, "I had gone with Rashmi, who was accompanied by her family, to support her. I had called my parents to meet her family. That's when the topic of marriage surfaced as my grandmother who's been unwell for sometime now asked me to get married. Keeping in mind her frail health, we got married on February 9 and returned to Mumbai." (AFP/STR)

Rashmi and Nandish, who recently had a secret wedding, seem to be in no hurry for a lavish ceremony. Rashmi says, "It won't happen before the end of this year or the beginning of next year. A proper wedding involves a lot of preparation so we will take sometime to plan it."
