Celebs who should retire in 2010

While 2009 saw some rising stars it also proved that some actors should fade away with time or just gracefully retire! Here's a look at some B-town celebs who should retire in 2010.

Neha Dhupia is also among the league of actresses who couldn't make it big in Bollywood in 2009 despite plum offers and a few good projects. Hope that the actress proves her acting skills with the films lined up in her kitty for 2010.
Sushmita Sen's personal life may be shinning bright with a new man in her life and another adopted girl child. But on her professional front the actress is on a downhill after her film 'Do Knot Disturb' bombed at the box office. Now the actress has pinned all her hopes on her forthcoming release 'Dulha Mil Gaya' in 2010. (Pic: Maxim)
Rani Mukherjee made her debut in 'Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat' way back in 1996. And after twelve years in the film industry, with meaty roles in almost all her films, Rani tried desperately to cling on to the past with the much-hyped yet disastrous ‘Dil Bole Haddipa’.
She's sexy, beautiful, well dressed, outspoken and glamorous! Celina is still one of the country's most prized possessions, a beauty queen who had all the qualifications to enter a film career! But an overdose of glam seems to have killed off good scripts and the roles that would have headed her way.
Dia Mirza had a couple of releases in 2009 like 'Acid Factory' and 'Kurbaan', but both bombed at the box office. After her debut in 'Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein', the actress could not prove his mettle as an actress.
Soha Ali Khan's flop show continued in 2009 too. Her release 'Tum Mile' opposite Emran Hashmi left her fans disappointed. With no subjective roles in her kitty, the actress is left yearning for a success formula. (Pic: Maxim)
Even with four films in 2009, 'Kidnap', 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', 'Anamika' and 'Shaurya', Minissha Lamba could do no wonders at the BO. Hope her next release, 'Well Done Abba' proves to do some good for the actress.
Riya Sen's MMS clip with her then beau, Ashmit Patel did rounds on the net and became popular, sadly, more than her movies! Though 2009 saw the actress doing some good photo shoots, her acting prowess is disputable.
2009 is when Priety Zinta did just a stint as an item number in 'Main Aur Mrs Khanna' . Throughout the year she was mostly seen cheering for her IPL team. A crossover from B’wood to business Preity?
Even his brother's 'Dhai Kilo Ka Haath' failed to pull him out of the hole Bobby has dug for himself! Bobby dear sleepwalked through most offers coming his ways.
Himesh Reshammiya's 'Radio' in 2009 cost this singer/actor/disaster a career. But the single worst part of that entire plan was the resulting extinction of 'Aap Ka Surror'! Now, he should realize that acting is not his cup of tea.
Vivek Oberoi remains one of the few actors in Bollywood whose off-screen scandals made a dent in an otherwise promising career! He did prove his acting skills to some extent but then that honour was stolen from him, too.
Considering the fate of his films in 2009, 'Do Knot Disturb' and 'Life Partner' actor-turned-politician-turned-actor Govinda should give a serious thought to retirement from films. Maybe, the actor should concentrate on his daughter Narmmadda Ahuja who is all set to make her debut in B'wood in 2010.
With flops like 'Life Partner', Fardeen Khan's once again proved his complete inability to act. Why not stick to ads Fardeen?

  1. Rani will have support of her fans whatever her film's B.O fate be.

She is a gem of an actress & can beat any newer hot & happening actress only on the basis of pure acting .

She will always rock in any role she do & if Ash-Kajol-Vidya (same age as Rani) can do films why not Rani ??
