Hottest nerds in B'wood

Bollywood stars are known to experiment with their looks and the role of a 'nerd' is not new to B'wood. Here are some of the hottest nerds of Bollywood...

Uday Chopra plays a geek in the film 'Pyaar Impossible' featuring the luscious Priyanka Chopra. The actor sports his look with big spectacles, oiled hair and high-tied trousers trying over to win the pretty and beautiful girl in the movie.
Hrithik Roshan played a mentally challenged man brilliantly in 'Koi Mil Gaya'. A child trapped in a man's body, Hrithik's role as Rohit Mehra brought tears to your eyes. Wearing a school uniform and getting bullied by the local bullies was a part of Rohit's life until it changed magically, thanks to Jadoo.
Akshay Kumar played a geeky role in parts of the movie 'Jaan-E-Man', complete with curly hair, huge spectacles and braces. His role of 'Agastya' was madly in love with Preity Zinta's stylish character. It was after he got rid of his nerdy look that he seemed to stand a chance but it was too late anyway.
It was a time when actors didn't often play nerds, but Amitabh Bachchan experimented with his looks by playing the role of 'Professor Sukumar Sinha' in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's 'Chupke Chupke'. His character was further burdened by big glasses perpetually slipping off his nose. An unforgettable Big B role.
The ever romantic hero, Shah Rukh played the simpleton in love with his beloved Taani in Aditya Chopra's 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi'. He shed his style for a simple Surinder Suri look, complete with well-combed hair, spectacles, high-waist trousers and running shoes.
In Mansoor Khan's college classic 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander', every character conformed to a college stereotype. Ayesha Julka played the role of a bookish version girl, forever studying and doing well in class, stopping only to pause and twirl when smitten by the cool dude, Aamir Khan.
An invisibility flick 'Gayab' showed Tusshar Kapoor in a nerd 'avatar' pining for neighborhood hottie Antara Mali. Randomly wishing he was invisible, makes him so, he goes into voyeurism and tries everything to impress the girl making us believe he wasn't really smart enough to be a geek after all.
In 'Main Hoon Na', Shah Rukh Khan played the role of Major Ram Sharma who goes back to college as an undercover agent. The actor poses as an over-age student and turns up in sweater-vests. The too-good-to-be-any-fun nerd act doesn't last too long, however, Khan soon turning into the inevitable college hero.
In the 1990 film 'Deewana Mujhsa Nahin', Aamir Khan played the goofy and dweeby yet obsessed Ajay, a photographer well besotted by Madhuri Dixit's character of 'Anita'. As his obsession grew increasingly unhealthy, it showed that not just are nerds people, but they can be pretty scary too.
Comic writer Sanjay Chhel entered direction with 'Khubsoorat', featuring Sanjay Dutt in the role of an imposter living with a big family and solving their problems. Chief among these problems was the bespectacled, awkward Shivani, played by Urmila, who Sanjay turned into a non-geeky swan.
